Fiercely loyal, proud and very honour-bound, Valentine is a member of the Aurorea bloodline and holds the coveted position of Hunter. He lives for the sake of his bloodline and has a dream of becoming the Law Keeper for it one day, but that dream is placed in jeopardy when he meets a young female of the Caelestis bloodline, his family's sworn enemies.

Considered emotionless, cold and detached, a perfect candidate for the role of Law Keeper, Valentine isn't sure how to handle the feelings stirred within him by the young female, Prophecy. She is rash, inexperienced, and dangerous, and pushes him to the limit of his patience, but as they travel together, Valentine begins to transfer his loyalty to her and unleashes his emotions.
