Character Biography - Nevar

Once a proud angel of Heaven in the Guardian corps, Nevar became a servant of Hell when Asmodeus forced a contract upon him. Since that moment, he has been spiralling downwards into despair and darkness, making one wrong choice after another. Those choices have led to him do terrible things that he regrets and that haunt him. A slave to his darker side, he struggles to maintain balance within himself and retain control over his evil impulses.

Although he may not appear it and his actions might speak otherwise, there is still good in Nevar and a strong desire to right his wrongs and somehow claw his way back towards the light. He longs to be the angel he once was, but without becoming a slave of Heaven again and losing his memories. Nevar might just find the strength he needs to redeem himself in the form of Lysia...

Physical Appearance Notes:: Has armour that is black edged with violet and wields a curved black and violet blade. His vambraces bear a violet rearing dragon on them. He has black skin up to his knees and elbows, a sign of the other form he can change into at will. The feathers of his wings are as black as night, but reflect dark purple in the light. He has little horns, normally hidden by the tufts of his white hair..
Height:: 6'2"
Build:: He has a medium build, muscular and defined. Very ripped.
Hair Colour / Style:: He has shorn his white hair, leaving it messy and tufted at the sides, and wild on top.
Eye Colour:: Jade, but will turn violet when his darker side emerges.
Manner of Speech:: He was quite formal before when serving Heaven, but now that he has been through the wringer he is less formal and tends to have more bite and snark to his words.
Manner of Dress:: He never wears anything other than his armour, but if he must dress in the mortal fashion, he'll pair plain black jeans with a charcoal tee. Or just black jeans that hang low on his hips with no belt.
Tattoos / Scars:: He has a curse inked onto his back in the form of wings. He has a mark on his chest too. A reptilian head armed with sharp fangs and six curved horns, wings that follow the sweeping arc of its scaly body, clawed feet and a long barbed tail. It forms a circle on his chest the size of his palm. In the centre of the beast is a perfect replica of Liora's pentagram and it clutches it in its claws.
Partner:: Lysia.
Preferred Weapon:: His twin blades, which are curved and black with violet handles.
Combat Skills:: He's the sort to go all out because he has nothing to lose. He doesn't want to end up back in Heaven by dying, but his life isn't worth much either. He is in Hell either way, and sometimes the thought of forgetting everything and starting over is very appealing.
Other Skills:: Nevar can no longer communicate telepathically with the angels, but he can communicate with his master, Asmodeus. He can create rifts to Hell, like Apollyon and Asmodeus.
