Born to a low-ranking female in a snow leopard shifter pride high in the mountains of Bhutan, Eloise was destined for a life with little luxuries and a lot of hard work. When she met Cavanaugh as a cub, she knew he was the oldest son of her pride’s alpha, but it didn’t stop her from forming a friendship with the scruffy silver-haired boy. As she grew up beside Cavanaugh, she came to cherish their close friendship and their wild adventures, always striving to stay at his side and keep up with him. When fate placed Cavanaugh into the role of alpha and far beyond her reach, she resigned herself to living in a world without his smiles and laughter and their adventures, even when it hurt her. Cavanaugh’s disappearance after losing a fight against a challenger for his position as alpha has played on her mind for five long years, but she always knew he left because he hated his life as their alpha. Now she has travelled across continents to find him and bring him back, but the Cavanaugh she finds in a nightclub is the one from what feels like a lifetime ago and he reawakens her feelings for him... but can she have the future she wants with him?
