Bestseller Paranormal Romance Ebook!

Wow, just read through the blog and realised that I hadn’t been crowing about these reviews and the fact that Prophecy: Child of Light spent three weeks in the Fictionwise.com Bestseller list! It was amazingly exciting to see it there. Made me so proud. I really hope the second book in the trilogy, Prophecy: Caelestis & Aurorea can live up to it!

Here’s some reviews I had recently for Prophecy: Child of Light

“The first in a new epic vampire series. The characters were wonderfully crafted; both Prophecy and Valentine take on realism in your mind. The story line is very creative…This is the first book of Ms. Heaton’s that I have read. I really enjoyed the whole adventure and I’m waiting for more in this dark new series.” — Connie Devaney, Paranormal Romance (read the whole review)
“Ms. Heaton’s novel Prophecy: Child of Light starts this series of with a bang. The characters are extremely interesting and have depth. The story is very unique and I’ve never ready anything like it. It has a minor Romeo and Juliet theme going on, but has a very dark and dangerous undertone…Even with so many pages the book is a quick read and leaves you wanting more. I can’t wait to read the next book – Prophecy: Caelestis & Aurorea.” — Tammie King, Night Owl Romance — 4.5 Stars (read the whole review)
“Wonderfully imaginative this story seems to fly from beginning to end. Readers will be left anxiously waiting for the next installment in Prophecy’s story. For exciting action and romance as well as amazing creativity readers are encouraged to look for Prophecy: Child of Light by F.E. Heaton.” — Anita, The Romance Studio — 4 hearts (read the whole review)
Needless to say I was thrilled!

when real life takes over…

Well…RL took over a little recently and I think I got lost in all the work and forgot to update this darned thing.

I sometimes wonder who reads it anyway. It would be interesting to get a show of hands on that account.

What have I been up to?

Well, I’ve been internet-less at home for the past week because we’re switching provider and the idiots forgot to send us the new router and software. I could have screamed. Hey, at least I’m back now.

Prophecy: Child of Light has been getting some great reviews. It’s a wonderful paranormal romance ebook that I think everyone should give a chance. Actually, it’s a trilogy, but it’s worth it, honest. And I’m not just saying that because I wrote it! lol.

We had new sofas on Sunday… mum decided to get herself some new ones and because her old ones are only 3 years old and match the colour scheme of our lounge, we took those. It was great fun breaking up our old sofas once the new ones were in. I spent most of Sunday in the garden beating them with a hammer after I’d ripped them apart with a stanley knife. It also gave me a chance to tidy the garden a touch. We’re heading for a real declutter session soon. Our house is only a 2-bed so there’s not much room for lots of crap.

Oh, and the biggest news this weekend was not the fact that I managed to spend my entire saturday working even though I didn’t have the internet (book publishing waits for no person!), but that my aunt’s cat Tia gave birth to my kitten, Koyo. We don’t know if it’s male or female yet as it’s barely a few days old, but it’s small, cute and ginger like its mum–yes, Tia is a ginger female so there’s a chance the baby is female too. She’s such a small cat that she only had 1 baby, but my aunt is letting her have another litter as I wanted 2 kittens. I’ve been a bit lost since my old cat died last October and decided when I Japan in November to get kittens in the summer.

I get to meet Koyo (which basically means Autumn Colours in Japanese – very apt for a ginger cat) on the 8th April, the day after my birthday, but won’t get to take it home until another 4 or 5 weeks after that.

I’ll post some reviews when I get time. Just had an amazing one from The Romance Studio for Prophecy: Caelestis & Aurorea… the reviewer had the review in only 10 days after I’d submitted the ARC!!!

TTYL!

The first reviews are in!

Yes, the first reviews are in and what a relief! I’ve been panicking about the reviews for Prophecy: Child of Light since I first sent it out into the world in ARC form. Maria told me so many times not to worry…she’s told me repeatedly that the story is great and people would see it…turns out she was right.

The first review was good, a 4.5 star from Ecataromance.com
“The twists and turns in this suspense filled story will keep your attention. This first book of the Vampires Realm definitely made me sit up and take notice and I’m already eagerly anticipating the next in the series.” — Trang, Ecataromance.com (read the whole review)

The second review has got me squeeing like crazy.

I just got my first Fallen Angels Reviews Recommended Read!

They gave Prophecy: Child of Light 5 angels and a Recommended Read
F.E. Heaton is one person that can kick butt when it comes to magic and the paranormal. Valentine has never seen the likes of Prophecy before but something in her blood speaks to him in a way that even his sire has never done before. This is the first in a series that this reviewer is going to keep an eye out for. There is a war that is starting and only Prophecy can defeat another dangerous vampire. I loved Valentine’s part in this book and though there was no ending but a continuation of what is to come readers will be enchanted with F.E. Heaton’s imagination and her way of pulling you into this world and different places so easily you will not want to put it down. Don’t let the page count (525 pgs) scare you for once you start reading you’re not even going to remember the pages it pulls you in wanting to know what Prophecy and Valentine are going to do. Awesome job F.E. Heaton and I can’t wait for the second in the series.” — Lena C, FAR (read the whole review)
